The collection of products authored by folk masters is unique and diverse. It comprises spinning wheels, washing bats, washing boards, household dishware and other utensils, glass for the production of gingerbreads and hand printing blocks for textile crafts. These objects made in wood, birch bark, wicker were decorated with carving, painting, inlay, embossing. Every region had its own individual motifs and decoration style.

This significant collection of products of the XX century comprises the best authored artworks from major local craft centers, such as Khokhloma, Gorodets, Veliky Ustyug, Kudrino, and many others. Artworks from the first half of the XX century displayed at major international and Russian local crafts exhibitions are of special interest among them.
The unique art of multiethnic Russia is also represented in this collection. You can find wooden utensils and household objects from Dagestan; unique inlays and silver and Melchior inlaid wood products from the Avar village of Untsukul; chorons, Yakut ritual vessels; wood and birch bark products of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East.
