The items collected here originally belonged to two dining room sets made after the designs of S.V. Malyutin (1859-1937). They were manufactured in the workshops of Moscow governorate Council after 1908 when the photos of new interior decorations in Pertsov's house in Soymonovsky lane in Moscow were published, and Malyutin received several other private orders for furniture. The decoration of these items includes ideas and even major ornamental compositions that had been developed by S.V. Malyutin before that in Talashkino. The orders for furniture sets were places through Moscow handicraft museum.
